Join Butterfly Conservation, Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark & Marble Arch Caves at Killykeeghan Nature Reserve, part of Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark, and take part in the Big Butterfly Count 2026—one of the UK’s largest citizen science projects helping to protect butterflies and monitor biodiversity.
This relaxed Walk and Talk offers a wonderful opportunity to explore the reserve, discover the fascinating world of butterflies, and contribute to an important national survey. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned wildlife enthusiast, everyone is welcome.
Every butterfly you count provides valuable information that supports conservation efforts and helps researchers understand how changing habitats and climate are impacting butterfly populations across our landscapes.
