Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark are delighted to have a Sustainable Business Network. Following two training programmes in 2020 and 2022, there are now 20 members within the Network, all of which share the common goal of being a more sustainable business.
The Network has a wide range of businesses from accommodation and activity providers to producers and retailers. During the 10 week training programme, participants learned; how to improve energy efficiency, Leave No Trace Certification, sustainable tourism and marketing within the Geopark. Participants also enjoyed a field trip to Burren Cliffs of Moher Geopark in Co Clare to learn from their businesses and share their experiences.
It is envisaged that a new intake of businesses will take place in Winter 2023. Enquiries on the Network can be emailed to info@cuilcaghlakelands.org
