Forest Service NI are presently conducting thinning operations in and around the vicinity of Carrickreagh viewpoint, Ely Lodge Forest. Harvesting operations are scheduled to last for approximately 3 weeks and there will be some disruption to the Recreational trails during this time. Visitors to the forest should adhere to all Health & Safety signage and follow all directional signage in place during the works. We apologise for any inconvenience during this time. Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark has joined an exciting new all-island partnership

This is a cooperation project between Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and Cavan County Council.
This element of the project is part funded under Priority 6 (LEADER) of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs and the European Union.
