Conagher, Big Dog, Carrigan and Ballintempo Forest – Temporary Closure

These forests will be closed on Saturday 7 September 2024  from 6am – 6pm to facilitate an organised event. All other sites within Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark remain open.

Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark, located in counties Fermanagh and Cavan, contains some of the finest landscapes on the island of Ireland. There are more than 50 sites in the Geopark which are open all year round and are free of charge to explore.
