These forests will be closed on Saturday 7 September 2024 from 6am – 6pm to facilitate an organised event. All other sites within Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark remain open.
Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark, located in counties Fermanagh and Cavan, contains some of the finest landscapes on the island of Ireland. There are more than 50 sites in the Geopark which are open all year round and are free of charge to explore. Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark has joined an exciting new all-island partnership

This is a cooperation project between Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and Cavan County Council.
This element of the project is part funded under Priority 6 (LEADER) of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs and the European Union.
