Lough Navar Forest & Scenic Drive Update

Published: 11 May 2025

We are happy to share that Lough Navar Forest & Scenic Drive (with the exception of Blackslee Waterfall Trail and Lough Slawn Trail which remain closed) will reopen to the public at weekends only from Saturday 10 May.

Lough Navar will remain closed from Monday to Friday as clearance and harvesting operations continue following Storm Eowyn. We will provide further updates in due course and express our thanks to our partners in Forest Service NI for the continued efforts.
