Shannon Pot Cavan Burren Park Project

Published: 17 July 2024

Please note works will begin on the Shannon Pot Cavan Burren Park Project next week. Visitor access to the Shannon Pot will therefore be provided on an intermittent basis from Monday 22nd July due to construction works associated with the project as funded under Fáilte Ireland Platforms for Growth Programme and Cavan County Council.

Ongoing updates will be provided on access in the coming weeks as Cavan County Council works with the appointed contractor to permit visitor access to the Shannon Pot during construction of the interpretative centre adjacent to the existing car park. The Cavan Way and Cavan Burren Park will remain open.

Apologies for any inconvenience.
