Storm Éowyn Update – Wednesday 12 February

The Geopark Ranger Team, along with many partner agencies, continue to work diligently to assess, make safe and reopen the many sites affected by Storm Éowyn.

A number of Geopark sites across Fermanagh and Cavan remain CLOSED due to the extensive damage caused by the storm including;

📍Carrigan Forest
📍Lough Navar Forest
📍Scarplands Cycle Trail

We are delighted the following Geopark sites are now open;

📍Carrickreagh Viewpoint
📍Castle Saunderson
📍Blacklion Village Trail (Cathal Bui Trail)
📍Cavan Burren Park
📍Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail
📍Lisnarick Community Trail
📍Lough MacNean Amenity Area
📍Roogagh Falls and Garrison Recreation Area
📍Tullydermot Falls
