Storm Éowyn Update – Friday 31 January

Published: 31 January 2025

The following Geopark sites are now re-opened.

  • Cuilcagh Boardwalk Trail
  • Cavan Burren Park
  • Marble Arch Caves
  • Lough MacNean Amenity Site

All other Geopark sites across Fermanagh and Cavan remain CLOSED.

Our teams, along with many partner agencies, are working diligently to assess and make safe all Geopark sites after the extensive damage caused by storm Éowyn.

Safety of our staff and the public remains our priority. We ask for your continued co-operation in not attempting to access any sites which are currently closed or where works are taking place.

We will continue to update through our digital channels.

Thank you for your patience.
