Yellow Weather Warning – Ice & Snow, Thursday 6 & Friday 7 January

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice, hail, sleet and snow on high ground during the evening and overnight, Thursday 6 January into tomorrow morning, Friday 7 January for Co.Fermanagh. Met Éireann have also issued a similar warning for Co.Cavan.

We are strongly advising the public to avoid Geopark sites on high ground such as the Cuilcagh Mountain Boardwalk and Lough Navar Scenic Drive due to the icy conditions and snow accumulations which may lead to slippery conditions underfoot.
