Following the success of the event in 2025, we are delighted to bring back Burren Bites food trail in 2026.
Burren Bites is a guided food trail through the stunning Cavan Burren Park in the heart of Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark. Along this immersive journey, our Geopark Ambassadors welcome guests to explore the geological wonders and archaeological treasures of the landscape while enjoying a curated six-course tasting menu designed by Chef and Regenerative Tourism Business Network Member, John Roche, inspired by thousands of years of local tradition. Each course is served at a unique stop along the trail, showcasing ingredients rooted in the region’s heritage and shaped by its ancient terrain. Every plate is carefully curated by food producers from across Cavan and Fermanagh bringing local flavours to artisan creations.
Join us to discover how the land has sustained and inspired generations – one bite at a time.
