Join us for a gentle, guided wildflower walk around Cavan Burren Park, following an easy route through peatland habitats and limestone landscapes as we celebrate Ireland’s National Biodiversity Week 2026, in collaboration with the biodiversity team from Cavan County Council.

Join Peatland Officer Roisin and Geopark Ambassador Andy as they discuss peatlands, exploring why they are so important to protect and how this is being achieved through ongoing conservation work.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

Booking is essential

If attending, please wear weather appropriate clothing and sun safe precautions, as this is an outdoor event.
