All of our Guides are extremely knowledgeable on the incredible sites within the Geopark. We are passionate about sharing stories, educating communities, and celebrating the wonders of the Geopark, and that’s exactly what our visitors receive when they join us on a tour.
On a Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark tour, you’ll learn about everything from biodiversity to geological heritage. Visitors will get a huge insight into the evolution of human settlement in this area and will have a chance to get an insight into the local folklore and magical stories that the Geopark has inspired.
Our Guides deliver walking tours, workshops and a range of activities on behalf of the Geopark throughout the year. These tours cover things such as boglands, information about historical monuments, education on conservation and you even have a chance to take part in some amazing activities, like kayaking and outdoor cooking. For a current list of planned activities visit the Events page.
Alternatively, if you are interested in a specific tour that is not in the Events section, and you have a particular topic in mind or a certain site that you’re itching to explore, then please get in touch via info@cuilcaghlakelands.org and we will be happy to assist you in organising this.
Please note there will be a charge per hour for the activity.
